Sorry about the service the past few days. We have a service call in to our ISP about our connection’s reliability.

Until now, the TWGS Search system could not index TradeWars servers that ran behind a BBS. Drakamir has released an add-on for Synchronet, the TWGS Robot Service, that allows our robot to connect and index servers running on Synchronet systems. His BBS, Holodeck One, is now a TWGS Search-enabled server.

If you run a Synchronet system and would like to add it to TWGS Search, download and install this javascript add-on and visit our sysop’s page to add your server.

Sorry, I’ve been tweaking the website to improve performance. The site has been gaining popularity again and I’m struggling to keep the machine fast. I may need another memory upgrade. There are times when I max out Apache’s 50 server processes.

Looks like I accidently deleted the original post. We are on a new server. Much faster, more memory, etc. New OS. Debian/Kubuntu Linux instead of Mandrake.

The BBS Documentary does go into door games a little bit, and spends a little bit of time talking about Trade Wars addiction. Check out the video here.
