There are currently 16 teams signed up for the United States Open 2001 at the present time. If you haven’t already signed up, do so now! If you do not have a team, post a message in one of the many forums out there (there is a link at the bottom of the right-hand column to sign up for the tradewars_2002 eGroup–or Yahoo!Group, which ever you prefer to call it). There are still a few players who have a couple of spots to fill! Time is running out!

Since we’re all from different walks of life (used car salesmen, IT professionals, state representatives in Congress, etc.), it’s always interesting to read things about players that you would have never expected about them. If you haven’t already noticed, I posted a personal web site of my own when I put up the new redesign of TRADEWARS.WS.

Well, not really out to lunch, but more like out and in the sick bed. Not feeling the greatest at the moment (haven’t all night) and I haven’t had an ounce of sleep and it’s 4:51AM. Not sure if I’ll get many updates in today or not. I’ll do my best to get news up sometime this evening. If you have anything you would like posted do not hesitate to submit it.

Well if you really wanna call it a “feature.” I have decided, since it’s the beginning of a new year in TW for me, that I would start my own “statistics” page for all of the games that I play this year. This link can be found at the top labeled “my stats.” If anyone has any interest they can go to that page and check out my kills, games played, who I killed, etc. for the whole year. I will add other Statistics to the page as I think of them (and I’ll also clean the current page up a bit).
