I recently called this game over due to multiple people e-mailing me and telling me the game was finished and that corporations 4/22 had won.I received an e-mail yesterday from a player who does not concede and feels the game can turn to his favor. The game will continue. I apologize for any inconveniences…the game has also been re-opened to new players.

If any of you are big into music like myself and like the group Clutch, then you know that they have a new CD out entitled “Pure Rock Fury.” On this new CD you will find a multimedia video of a live performance of a previous song of theirs called “Spacegrass,” which was recorded on 9/8/2000 at the 9:30 Club in downtown Washington, D.C.I’m actually in attendance during this performance and appear a couple of times in the video, I’m going to throw together my personal web site once again and I will have screenshots of the video on the site. I just thought it was pretty cool that they did that and I could actually see myself on a world-wide musical release. 😉

The time limit imposed on “Red Alert” has been removed, it is now unlimited time. A player had trouble with his time not resetting. In order to prevent this from happening in the future we decided to just remove it altogether.”Corporation Power” has been won by corporation(s) 4 & 22! They will be added to the site along with the winners of the first Lil’Funky game (the second Lil’Funky game is currently in progress).

Our “Big Bang Friday” two days ago was a hit. We hit 62+ people online at once! As soon as I opened the games they were flooded.

If you haven’t checked out the games yet, do so now! Games L, A, R, and D are only two days old now! Still plenty of time to get in there and get rolling!

If you haven’t signed up for the Lethal Lottery Tournament starting on April 1, 2001, you need to do it soon!Last I heard the registrations were up to 51 out of the maximum 60! I’m sure if they’re not already filled by now they will be shortly! Registrations will be accepted past 60 in case of drop-outs.

I’m leaving this morning for yet another week in Denver. Should be returning on the 17th or 18th providing things go well at the job site. What this means is that there’s no one local who’s experienced with The Void’s MBBS settings and system, so hopefully there’s very few problems. If you do have problems, contact one of the Sysops–either DagBot or Space Ghost–for assistance. If necessary Kitty Moon can reboot the system, but if there are any remaining configuration problems, they’ll have to wait until my return. Good luck everyone, and don’t enjoy the party too much without me!

Eleq and Fuseblown have put together a page on the Home Sector website that contains a list of people who have made contributions to the game of Trade Wars. They include beta testers, sysops, game ops, website owners, and most importantly of all, they also mentioned Team EIS. Because without EIS, Trade Wars would have been dead long ago.

I was mentioned both as a beta tester and web site owner, though not as a game op because I op at serveral servers at one time or another. You can also see my name for beta testers if you own a TWGS and click “Help > About” and a list appears of beta testers for the TWGS.
