I received this information the other day from my feedback form. A person by the alias “Kastor” has a TWGS up and running at 24.229.35.61. It has a modified game, no ship/planet edits, just balanced prices. It’s free of course and is a 6 node server. Go check it out!

When I logged on to play my League turns tonight I saw that Stonewall posted a message on the main menu of The Deep South TWGS that he was purchasing a RAM upgrade with the donations that he has received. Way to go Stonewall! Now that’s what donating is all about, helping out the admins that put these servers up for us to play free-of-charge (well, 95% of the time).If you play on a server and would like to donate to them, check out the Donation List here at TRADEWARS.WS and see if the appropriate server is listed there.

If you run a TWGS system (or even web site, or both..), send me the proper information needed (as found on the Donation List page) and I will put you up there with the others. It’s the least I can do to help out.

Stonewall will be banging “Stonewall’s Suprise” tonight at 8:00PM EST over at the Deep South TWGS. This will be Stonewall’s first attempt at a large edited game. He says there will be a few ships and new odd planets for players to find and the rest will have to be “figured” out. Sounds fun! Go check it out!
