I’m leaving this morning for yet another week in Denver. Should be returning on the 17th or 18th providing things go well at the job site. What this means is that there’s no one local who’s experienced with The Void’s MBBS settings and system, so hopefully there’s very few problems. If you do have problems, contact one of the Sysops–either DagBot or Space Ghost–for assistance. If necessary Kitty Moon can reboot the system, but if there are any remaining configuration problems, they’ll have to wait until my return. Good luck everyone, and don’t enjoy the party too much without me!

Eleq and Fuseblown have put together a page on the Home Sector website that contains a list of people who have made contributions to the game of Trade Wars. They include beta testers, sysops, game ops, website owners, and most importantly of all, they also mentioned Team EIS. Because without EIS, Trade Wars would have been dead long ago.

I was mentioned both as a beta tester and web site owner, though not as a game op because I op at serveral servers at one time or another. You can also see my name for beta testers if you own a TWGS and click “Help > About” and a list appears of beta testers for the TWGS.

I want to thank the Home Sector for putting up the page to recognize many individuals in the TW community that were at least partly responsible for the progress of Trade Wars. See the page right here.

Home Sector & Stardock BBS have constructed a page (found on the top navigation bar: “TW Contributors“) dedicated to those folks that have put in the time, money, and effort that has kept this game alive over the years! Without these folks, there would be no “community.” Heck, there wouldn’t even be TWGS or any new versions of TW2002 past the v3.09 door, if that!These people deserve all of our thanks and support and this is the least we could do for those people.

I have thrown my hat into the ring for this game.Should be very interesting who I get for corpies. Who knows, I may end up with some kick ass players like Guardian or Bad Girl for my corpies…or I could end up kicking their asses from here to Virginia Beach instead <EG>. I realize some of you have your problems with Silver Wings. Set those problems aside for one game and let’s all kick some butt. Be interesting for example, to see Guardian vs. Eleq or Space Ghost vs Tweety or Medusa should they sign up. There are so many possibilities here on who teams up.

TOMORROW, *four* games will be started from scratch! Two will be rebangs of the Apocalypse and Lil’Funky games and the other two will be two brand new edits done by yours truly! One game is dubbed “Red Alert” and the other will be an Unlimited Dupe game to replace the current dupe game featured on the board. The Dupe Access from the main menu of the BBS may *only* be used for the DUPE games. You will be banned if you do not follow this rule.

We’ll be looking to bang these sometime in the evening. Keep checking back for more specifics!

Turns out that I missed a lot of action last night in the USO.To keep things short, corp “Half-Baked” seemed to have a bad night losing the USO’s top killer Xide (who passed the almighty hELLCAT by two kills to gain that title). Also, I have heard confirmations that Outkazt and Night Hawk have resigned from the game due to lack of blue support. We’re down to only a few contending corporations for the USO ’01 title!
