It seems someone was unhonorable enough in the USO tournament to actually try to hack into people’s accounts. He got into both Rawhead’s and possibly to Ripclaw too. Here’s his pertanent Information:

I’d suggest all Sysops to ban this IP. It also looks like I have the unfortunate task of Updating the Hall of Shame again.

Barb has given me official notification that I will now be hosting the USO game. The game at twgs.tradewars.org will be deactivated at 12:00 tonight and the game will then continue on my server after the data files have been transfered. (The game will not be starting from scratch like last time.)

The Unlimited bandwidth offered by my 56k connection in tandem with my Quality Radio Shack Tandy 1000 at the server’s core will provide the best experience yet. As someone else would say, this server will “Manhandle” the competition! the new address will be telnet://idiots.tradewars.org

Big Lag in Little Frogland

The USO is now having to restart after the Lag monster tore down the Server that was once Frogland. After a vote, the USO is going to be moved to Miller’s Pary Board. The game is going to start from scratch tommorrow so Everyone who was originally killed by Hellcat can get their Ass kicked one more time.

While I was was out looking for a girl that would talk to me this Valentine’s Day, Some of you are having even more fun playing on the USO, which started today.

Barb “I’m proud of my Body Damnit!” Cruz, (aka Badgirl, you know, the person who put together the USO?) has set up the USO Obituaries page. as of this writing, Hellcat is in the lead with 10 pods and 3 kills.

New TWGS Beta, get ASAP

A new TWGS Beta has been released on the Beta Website. Besides the fact that Extern actually works now, It also fixes the Tri-Cron bug! I recomend Installing this immediately to keep those k00l d00d players from becoming millionares without having to put up with Regis Philbin.

No updates in a week?

You may notice there haven’t been any updates the past week. Am I up to my old tricks again? Not really. I just happened to have 3 tests that conviently coincided on this one week. Hell, I gave my computer to my friend to make sure I’d study.

Walked over to St. Trizi’T‘s site today and noticed it had the apocalyptic message of “Home Sector 3.0 is coming”

After hacking into Eleq’s security system, I’ve found that 34% of the refers were sent to his page from here. This leads me to question, Where the hell is my check for services rendered?

Tradewars was recently mentioned in a Firingsquad review of X: Beyond the Frontier. In particular, there’s a quote about tradewars in. If your lazy, (The lazyness should have osmoised itself into your very soul by now by just visiting here) here’s the quote in particular:

A new beta of TWGS was released today! Here’s what it does:

“Ugh! The EXTERN problem persists. In fact, they were worse in the last revision because EXTERN would run too often rather than not enough. I have gone back to the original approach, with a few changes. This should at least put an end to the frequent EXTERN problem. It may also bring back the problem with EXTERN not running as often as it should. Please report this if it happens to you so I can keep working on it.”
