There will be a meeting in the teleconfrence prior to the bang, to discuss last minute settings. New MBBS Tradewars .DLL Aparently, a new .DLL has been released for MBBS TW. Acording to Jake, this is a BETA .DLL, and FEN looks like it's going to be beta testing this version. It looks like this beta **SHOULD** fix the god awfull Fed-com bleed, along with the Caping ships at SD bug. I'm still not certain if this Beta is available to the public. **Nik's Trade Wars 2002 Heaven** Nik has revamped this Original TW site, and Renamed it [Nik's TradeWars Heaven](https://web.archive.org/web/19980000000000*/https://www.css.tayloru.edu/%7Emchiam/TradeWars). Right now, many of the things planned for the site are not yet up, as Nik is on vacation. But I do find it odd that they have a TradeWars Yellow Pages. Is Nik trying to put me out of buisness? :) **Fament to reset soon.** [Family Entertainment](telnet://bbs.fament.com) is set to rebang their game soon. The current game apparently has been won my Mav, and fament is looking to rebang as soon as the new .DLL for TradeWars MBBS comes out this week. (There will be a one week warning before the game starts.) We'll tell you when it happens.

My gosh. I had a marathon of working on this site today! I can feel the radiation poisoning caused by my monitor already. :) But it wasn't all Good. I would suggest anyone who has a website visit this page. Here's what's smaller on the page: - Main Union logo: Was 20k, now 10k. It actually looks a bit better also. BOTE'99 is coming up soon! There are going to be a lot of different things than last year. First off, the date for it is going to be around Late February/Early March to help out those who can't play in the summer. Currently, it looks like Outlaw will be the BBS hosting this years tournament.

I thought I had seen the end of Flamewars about Tradewars when I was no-longer able to play on BBSs, but a new flame war has begun between Gypsy and Zoobar. My personal views are also in there. If your wondering why I'm putting this on the site, read it and then you'll understand better. **NavBar Added** I've added a new Navigation Bar at the bottom of my pages now. I've so far, only implemented it here and the listings pages so far. It'll lead to you to everywhere on this page, and a few other places. It's been up for a few days already, but it had broken links. I've (Hopefully) fixed those. If you find more, please tell me. **Famnet Resets** [Family Entertainment](telnet://bbs.fament.com) reset their TW game not too long ago. The reason this wasn't covered was because this was a spur of the moment reset. The reason is because of the amazingly large amount of dupes people were using. According to the Gameop, 43 dupes were delt with in only two weeks. God Help us.

Just want to wish you all a Happy 1998. Since '97 is over, I'm compiling the best and worst things to happen to TW in '97. For Example, the worst thing to happen to a BBS is bbs.paul.com going down. The Current TW game there features an 800 turn game with some twists. As said before, I'm playing there under the TW name of "PaRappa the Rapper."
