CARE AND FEEDING OF LEVEL DIAGRAMS.

by David Myers.

Ok, now you have this Level Diagram that you have collected with
INSTMAP or TWFT; what are you going to do with it? (In this
discussion we assume you are using TWASSIST; but the techniques
can't be much different with TWVIEW)

(1) Keep a file that is the sum of all LDs you have collected
for this game. Call them MERGEG1, MERGEG2, or whatever.
Any new LD you make should be merged into this file.

(2) With a merge file of 2 LDs or more, you should be able
    to locate stardock.

(3) It is this merged file that you should be merging into
    your capture.txt file.

(4) If you have entered the merged capture.new data into TWASSIST once,
it is no longer necessary to repeat this process every time. The
only time you need to update this information is
when you collect another LD, in which case you reenter
the new merge file. When a capture.txt file is entered
into TWASSIST after a merge file, you will get a number
    of warnings of the kind:

WARNING: No warps found for explored sector XXX. Setting unexplored.

However, the warp information is preserved in the database.
