# Trading Mechanics and Tactics
## Overview
Trading in the game revolves around moving commoditiesâFuel, Ore, Organics, Equipment, and Fightersâbetween **ports**, **planets**, and **personal ships**. All trade actions consume a turn unless explicitly noted as a zeroâturn action.
## Planetary Trading
**Planetary Trading** moves a planet into a sector that contains a port, swaps cargo, then returns the planet to its original sector.

> **Note:** The transporterâs installation cost is **50,000âŻcredits** plus **25,000âŻcredits** for each sector upgrade. All costs are deducted from the shipâs cash reserves, not from the planetâs funds.
