Damn, it's been a while since my last update...lots of things going on.. First of all, I'm still busy as a bee with starting this ISP, all of my time and energy has gone into working on this day in and day out and in some cases, night in and night out. Things are starting to come together and soon I'll have a little bit of free time to put into some TW-related projects. Next, the WTC is over, the GoodGuys tore it apart. I was given a list of six players to announce as the winners, however I somehow lost those from my ICQ history and do not have them. Either way, the GoodGuys won, I'll post a list of the GoodGuys team on the WTC page ASAP. This year's game was very quick and I know there are a lot of upset folk about the whole thing. However, it's a no-holds-barred game, and that's how it turned out this year. Hopefully next year, a little more time and organization will be put into it. I wanna thank Poison and MemphisTW for hosting the game for me this year! Third, this year's BOTE is coming up real soon...it will begin on July 17th at FEN. All public servers are eligible to send in a team to represent them in one of the best tournaments of the year. More information coming soon! **Finally**, the Home Sector TWGS will be back up *this week*! I have to format my personal computer to take care of some performance issues and the occasional freezing it likes to pull on me. Once that is done, I'll throw the TWGS up on it and run it out of our ISP office on a T1 connection. The BBS will be back up sometime later, once I make some room for it on a Linux server and get it all setup.. probably sometime in July. That's about it for now, wanted to let everyone know what's going down and what to expect in the coming weeks!

Many of you are aware that I am in the process of moving from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania. I have been offered hosting from a variety of people, and I MAY decide to take one of those offers, but it appears that all of the games currently running are reaching a conclusion anyway. More than likely, I will simply be taking The Lost Traders Tavern down on or about June 22nd. Once I am settled into my new house in PA, and have a broadband connection established, The Tavern will re-launch, and I will open an all new series of games. This should be sometime in July or August. Thanks to all of the players who have made TLTT a fun place to play.

Tonight at 9pm EDT, the WTC will reopen. At this point, we're just going to delete the mail file and hope everything goes well and the game problems are fixed. I just wanted to be safe and hear back from JP before reopening the game. The reason it's 9pm tonight is because I will be gone most of the day and evening and won't have Internet access to be online whenever the game goes back up. I'd like to be around just in case. ;) Sorry for the wait, hopefully things will go well from here.

Due to a game bug (or possible corruption), I have temporarily taken the WTC offline. Waiting for the official word from EIS before I go ahead and do anything... Basically, here's the situation...whenever someone is hitting a sector fig that does not belong to them, they are being booted to the main TWGS menu. This problem has happened before...both on a server I used to gameop at and also at the Stardock when I was a sysop there. I'll wait to see what the verdict is on how to fix it...if there's any possible way to fix it without a rebang, I'll go that route...if it comes to a rebang, then I'll give a couple days break then start the game again. No new registrations will be accepted if this is the case. Rebang will be the absolute last resort. Also, if we do not have to rebang, I will give good notice before the game comes back up. Just so everyone knows of the situation...this will be posted in the various forums, the Home Sector, and the WTC site. Sorry about this, but these things happen. :(

If I did not have an e-mail address, please make sure those team members receive their login information. Each team has their own specific password for login. He was unaware that his original domain was about to expire and some marketing company snagged it up before he was able to renew it. :( So this will be the new address from this point.

I now have *11* teams registered for the WTC 2002! Please, everyone, double-check to make sure you team names are all listed right. I will be adding these names into the game soon, so I need to know if any mistakes and/or changes need to be made. Also, deadline for final team registration will be 3:00PM EDT SATURDAY! So make sure you have everything figured out by then.
