How To Report Bugs

When reporting a bug concerning the TWGS Search system, please include the following information. Error Message: If the bug generates an error message of any sort, include the exact text and location on the page of the error message. URL: The URL of the page where the bug occurs. Type: What kind of bug is this? Is our robot not collecting data properly? Are the search results not what you expected? Are PHP error messages being produced? Is this a feature request, not a bug? (If it is, don't label it as such!) Is a page not rendering well in your browser? Reproducability: What needs to happen in order to see the bug? How can someone get the bug to occur? Detail everything you were doing on TWGS Search prior to the occurrence of the bug. Be specific. Relevancy: The TWGS Search database links to external websites that are not under our control. If your report concerns a website belonging to a TWGS server listed in our database, it should be addressed to the SysOp in question and not a TWGS Search administrator. This includes reports of broken links. The Details page of each game listing has an "Email the SysOp" link to allow you to do this. If you are a SysOp and are having problems with your server listing, you should attempt to fix it from your Sysop's Page first. If you have lost your password, don't complain to me about it: You can use the "forgot" link to recover it. Consideration: I reserve the right to delete, destroy, or otherwise not look at bug reports that contain insults or flame language, demonstrate excessive stupidity, or are simply illegible.
